Well it seems as though perhaps this
site has done some good after all. The two women that started
this whole mess, Ruby Prothero and Julie Lafferty are no longer
listed as members on ATO's website. Though, in all reality,
this is probably just a smoke screen, I'm sure that they are
still active members, just listed under another name. But we'll
never know will we? More updates coming soon!

Second Update: Comments From R. Ferg Jr.
Well
I figured I'd write a little letter to explain how ATO (Adoption
Triad Outreach) helped break up my family. I’m Jill’s
brother. I was born to Robert Ferg Sr. and serenity (a member
of ATO). Serenity and another women decided to leave their
husbands. Although they say they aren’t lesbians I do
have files and archives from serenity’s computer that
would prove otherwise. In the process of leaving their families,
staff of the ATO helped them by letting them live as lesbians
in there homes. An organization that’s supposed to help
families get together helped tear mine apart just a few days
before my wedding. I do have evidence of high members of ATO
were allowing these two WOMEN to sleep together in their home
with children in the home. They left days before my wedding.
I’m serenity’s only son. I grew up as her favorite
and I did love my mother dearly. I remember when I was growing
up she was always my protector from anything that could hurt
me. She took care of me when I was sick and hid me when I
was in trouble from my dad. We went through a lot together
as a FAMILY. Let me tell you a little about the man she left.
While I was growing up my dad drank a lot and there where
a lot of fights. My mother would have you believe that my
dad beat her and was the most awful man that ever lived. I
can’t remember my dad ever hitting her but I do remember
her hitting him on several occasions. He got stitches a couple
of times. Even after she hit him, HE DIDNT HIT HER BACK!
Well
my dad quit drinking about 15 years ago and I hope I can become
half the man he's become today. He built a real life for my
family. He’s taught me more about life and being a man
than any other person I know. When times got hard he didn't
run away. And when the most important day of my life came
he was there. My mother was at another member of ATO’s
home sleeping with her girlfriend. I've read through ATO’s
hand book and as far as I can tell it’s a pack of lies.
Nonprofit? Where is all this money from their sponsors going?
They don’t have lawyers, but they are gonna need a few
if I have anything to do with it. I’ve written letters
to the IRS requesting an investigation of their books. What
I don’t understand is, if someone comes to you talking
about leaving their family, do you tell them to leave. Hell
no!!!!!
I'm
talking about an organization that’s sole reason for
being is to help families reunite. ATO did you have to break
up a family because business was getting slow? Well if you
plan on helping us get back together, you can keep serenity.
We don’t want her anymore. I can understand why a lot
of ATO wouldn’t understand how it feels to lose your
mother. Most members are adoptees or adopters. But can you
imagine how it feels to have one of the only people you can
always count on being there walk out of your life. How would
you feel towards an organization that not only helped but
approved of it? I’ve been threatened by ATO; if I don’t
quit posting at there web pages I'll be arrested for harassment.
Well if you can find a cop to arrest me for the posts I've
put up.....please do. After what ATO has done to my family,
they are the ones that should be arrested. And I don’t
believe there is a cop in the country that would arrest me
for stating facts. If anyone that see the information I’ve

looking for you family don’t go through ATO. There are
a lot of other resources out there.
