When I was almost finished writing this series of articles on 17 year old Carla Walker and her brutal death, I faithfully delved through the Forth Worth PD.'s cold case files that they had listed online. I went over them at least three times and could find NO mention of Carla's case. It's interesting that just a few weeks after this series of articles was published, Carla's case was FINALLY added to their cold case files - coincidence? I think not.
I don't care what their reason for finally posting her information on their Cold Case Files was, I'm just glad that it's finally there and well ... if Justice Junction had anything to do with that, then HOT DAMN and I'm a happy camper! Maybe if they see that we're not going away, and yes we are gaining even MORE publicity for Carla's story, then they'll straighten their crap up and finally let Carla rest in peace ... saddly, I'm not holding my breath. My mother always said ... "baby steps Jill, baby steps". That's what Carla's case being listed is .. a baby step. I'll take any step I can get!
