If I owed a balance to AOL i would pay it. I moved
to my currant address and called AOL to disconnect my service
from the free trial offer on 8.0. I informed your employee,
Ken, that I planned to switch from road runner to AOL. He offered
me 3 free months and told me before I would be billed AOL would
contact me. I told him I would switch to broadband at that
time. I did switch to broadband on the 21 st of January, 2003,
I gave Ken my new information, address change and new phone
number. From the information I received today from your employee
Wayne Thomas, my new phone number was listed as an evening
contact number and my old number was the main contact number.
This is not my fault, and no one ever called my new number
as back up.I had AOL for several years and canceled my account
for 2 years. The reason I canceled before was because AOL was
double billing me on my credit card. I do not wish to have
to deal with that type of confusion again. I do not wish to
give AOL my credit card information since my billing is handled
by time warner cable locally. I have never not paid my bills.
I just don't own this. I have spoke with 7 people that work
for Aol, and to my local cable server who supplys my conection.
My local company says they can't turn off my AOL. I refuse
to .give out my credit card number.
