carried my 1998 Windstar van to Carl Gregory Ford in Fort
Payne, AL, where I bought it and told them I had a problem
with the engine, that it stopped running when my wife stopped
at a redlight.. they took the vehicle and looked at it for
a day.. said they could not find anything wrong.. i had driven
the vehicle and it happened with me also.... now a year later,
my van did it again and would not restart. i was stranded
with my three children and wife in Auburn, AL.. I have to
get a wrecker and find a way home for 200 miles... I called
Carl Gregory in Fort Payne, AL and they told me that my extended
warranty was out at 75,000 miles,, I have 79,000 miles.,...
go figure,, my problem is that i carried the van in for the
problem when it was under warranty about 55,000 miles and
they said they could not find anything wrong... now they
want me to pay 550.00 to fix it, GO FIGURE.. I feel the the
warranty should still cover since i found the problem before
the mileage ran out?????????????????????????????NEED HELP
