Child abuse is everyone's problem, not just the childs. I urge you to not turn your back on a child in need. If you know of a child you suspect is the victim of abuse, call your local social services division. Call 1-800-4ACHILD (Child Help USA) and report your suspicions to them. The most important thing is to SPEAK UP, you may save a childs life. 

In addition, the laws need to be changed. Had Patrick Bourgeois Sr and Tracy Bratton been convicted of first degree murder, they would be old and gray before ever hoping to walk out of prison. The laws regarding "intent" need to be changed to reflect a child abuse murder.  

Contact your senator, your congressman, your mayor, anyone in government. I have said over and over that with thousands of voices things can and will change. It's too late to save PJ, but there are thousands of other children in the same situation as him, we can still help them. 

We need to give our children rights in this country and stand up for them when they aren't protected! Don't turn away from child abuse, but join the battle in PJ's name.
