Judicial Injustice - The Stalking & Murder of 16 Year Old Laurie Show
Unforgettable, Unforgivable Comments By Judge Dalzell
Justice Junction has come to realize that the majority of the unforgettable comments made by "Judge" Dalzell were made during his scathing 90 page ruling that ultimately over turned Lambert 1st degree murder conviction and released her from prison. We have decided to post that ruling here along with a few of the other instances in which we feel Dalzell himself committed misconduct.

Dalzell went way beyond humiliation when he attacked several witnesses on the stand during the Federal Habeus Corpus Hearing of Lisa Michelle Lambert. The judge seemed to actually enjoy in publicly humiliating an entire town including the police, the judicial system and it's residents. Misconduct is a word that Dalzell should be very familiar with after he continually "rolled his eyes" and would look to the ceiling as police officers testified to the facts as they knew them to be on Dalzell's witness stand. He continually sighed as if bored, or perhaps because he already knew what the outcome would be, he may have felt the hearing itself was a waste of time. He repeatedly interrupted the prosecuting attorney with his own questions for the witnesses, as if to assist the defense and acted on more than one occasion as though he didn't believe their answers.

In one particular instance Dalzell not only dishonored Hazel Show, but also the memory of her daughter when Hazel Show was on the witness stand. When Mrs. Show told her story yet again, towards the end Lisa Michelle Lambert gave an award winning performance when she burst into tears as Mrs. Show cried for the loss of her daughter, on the witness stand. Rather than attempt to comfort the victims mothers as most judges would do, Dalzell choose to attempt to comfort the murderer instead by saying "It's OK, Miss Lambert ... it's OK." Misconduct at it's best.

"You can make a choice over," Dalzell advised the district attorney, "whether you want to defend this case, put on your own witnesses. In the meantime, I'm going to release Miss. Lambert into some agreed-upon custody ... Because it's quite clear now that the petitioner is entitled to relief, the only question is how much."
During final arguments Madenspacher spoke of Lambert being guilty at least as an accomplice or conspirator but Dalzell waved him off and said, "She wasn't charged with conspiracy was she? She was charged with first degree murder. So the only issue before me is actual innocence of first degree murder. That is what she was convicted of."

It is incomprehensible that Dalzell could do what he did not only in his treatment of the witnesses, but especially in his dishonoring the memory of Laurie Show and the horrible death that she suffered at the hands of the woman he claims is totally innocent. To release Lambert is in itself a travesty of justice, but to then declare that she never be retired is a total lack of regard for the judicial system all together. In that one ruling Dalzell stripped away the states right to retry given by the constitution. How can one man have the power to do this? This is yet another example of how our government and those in control of it, have gotten too much power in their hands.

After reading all the reports, the court records, and Dalzell's comments it is clear to Justice Junction that going into this hearing he knew what the outcome was going to be. So, now you must question what motives Dalzell has to release this killer from prison. It's been uncovered that Lamberts attorneys were "roomies" with Dalzell during their law school days. Could this possibly have something to do with Lamberts release? Or could it be that Dalzell simply took a liking to Lambert and wanted her freed for reasons other than "judicial misconduct"? Those are questions that we may never know, though I would wager that if Lambert is released from prison in the future, you will find that she ends up in a nice penthouse somewhere with money every month and a certain judge frequenting said penthouse. Of course, this is just an opinion, you decide.
