Murder in Missouri
Father and Sons Brutally Murder
19 Year Old Travis Walker

Travis Walker was probably like most 19 year old kids, he loved his family, he had fun, he cruised the streets with his girlfriend and he got into arguments with other kids his age - normal, everyday things. Travis was a handsome kid with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was relatively tall and a little on the lanky side, but still handsome.

Travis had one sister and nephews, his father, countless relatives and even more friends. Travis was a likeable guy with a rather charming personality if not a little on the shy side with those that he didn't know very well.

Sunday March 19, 2006 would prove fatal for young Walker when he was brutally shot to death by 16 year old Nathaniel (otherwise known as Tommy) Geise.

A viewing was held on Wednesday March 22rd, 2006 for Travis Walker and his family and friends. Funeral services occurred today March 23rd, 2006 at the West Side church in Willow Springs.

______________________________________

Twenty year old Robert (Bobby) Brummett was beaten with a baseball bat on his head, neck, shoulders and chest. He witnessed his best friend being shot and watched as his life slipped away forever.

While Travis' life slipped away, 43 year old Kurt Geise and 16 year old Tommy Geise each held a gun on all five occupants of the vehicle and would not allow them to seek medical attention for their dying friend.

I have seen posts on the internet regarding this tragedy in which some people who will remain nameless have blamed the death of Travis Walker on his friend Bobby Brummett.

I would like to make one thing explicitly clear - there are three people who are going to be held accountable for the murder of 19 year old Travis Walker and they are Kurt Geise, Andrew Geise, and Tommy Geise - not Bobby Brummett.

The mental anguish that will follow not only Mr. Brummett, but also the other occupants of the car that night, is something that I would never want to experience in my lifetime.

The main thing that I would like to state is that in no way, shape of form is Mr. Brummett responsible for the murder of Travis Walker. Those who are at fault are sitting in jail where they belong.

Mr. Brummett is still recovering from his injuries at home in Willow Springs.
