| Welcome
to Justice Junction's Personal Injustices. As consumers
we are all subject to the misuse and abuse by corporate America,
this is to be expected. But when it comes into your home
and becomes personal, that's a totally seperate issue. When
you are wronged by those close to you, people that you trust
and you feel as though you have no where else to turn, come
here .. to Justice Junction. |

Adoption
Triad Outreach - Support For The Adoption Community?
Or Protecting Each Other as Staff Members? You Decide!
Edited by Alexis

| The
Adoption Triad Outreach (or the ATO) was created in 1996
by "Standing One' a reunited adoptee who was also an
adoptive father. I first joined the ATO when I began to search
for my biological family. After the search and reunion my
biological "mother" would also join the ATO and
eventually push me out of the group all together. It seemed
as though the ATO was interested in birth "mothers" but
not in the adoptee. The ATO would eventually back up my "biological" mother
when she abandoned me for the second time in my life after
a 6 year reunion when she decided she would rather be a lesbian
than stay with the man she had been married to for 30 some
odd years. Instead this "mother" and I do use the
term lightly decided to take off with a woman nearly half
her age and forget that she ever had another family at all.
The ATO has kept both of these "mothers" on their
staff roster and has continually denied any wrong doing on
their part. The ATO was created to help REUNITE families,
not stand behind those that are tearing them apart. |

| Brotherton
Propane West Plains, Missouri |
| Justice
Junction was contacted by a woman who recently had problems
regarding a propane tank that they had leased from Brotherton
Propane. Brotherton Propane removed this families propane
tank after they had gotten propane through another company
(MFA Oil and Propane, Willow Springs, Missouri). The company
(Brotherton) claimed that the family had broken their contract
and therefore it allowed them to remove the tank. However,
after investigating this complaint, Justice Junction was
able to verify that it was Brotherton Propane who had not
only broken safety laws, but violated Department of Motor
Carriers laws as well. We would also learn that the practice
in which Brotherton Propane practices is a standard among
the community. Brotherton Propane not only removed this families
tank, but also stole the propane that was in it and has since
refused to give them a refund on said propane. As if that
isn't bad enough, they have made it a point to make certain
that this family can not obtain a propane tank through any
other company in the county by "blackballing" them
so no other company will deal with them. |
