| This
past week there was a horrific tragedy in RI, where 97 people were
killed in a fire. Metal band Great White set off pyrotechnics during
the first song in the show. It reminds me of another fire in another
bar/lounge/dance club, whatever you want to call them, in New York
City on March 25, 1990 when Julio Gonzalez used just $1.00 in gasoline
to create an inferno in which 147 people died. The difference between
the two tragedies is one was an accident while the other was intentional.
The similarity is that in both clubs, the majority of people died
of either being trampled to death or smoke inhalation because everyone
rushed the front door. However, this scene was slightly different
as it's been reported that bouncers were shoving people away from
the exits. |

| Diana
Whipple had no idea it was going to be her last day on earth, none
of us every really know when God is going to call us home. Most of
would like to believe that we will die peacefully, perhaps in our
sleep. In reality, the majority of people die violent deaths, car
accidents, murder and the like. However, what happened to Diana Whipple
was beyond violent. She was mauled to death by a 100 pound Presa Canario. |
