Polk County Unidentified Jane Doe
Do You Know This Girl?
This particular photo is an artists rendering of Polk County's Jane Doe. She was found on May 7th, 1986 near Highway 33 & Old Combee Rd. in Lakeland. Jane's age is not precisely know, but she could be anywhere from 15 years old to 35 years old. She was approximately 5'3" and weighed about 125-130 lbs. She had light brownish/red hair, or possibly brown hair with natural red highlights. Her teeth were in bad repair, which could indicate that she was a runaway.

When she was found, she was wearing an aqua blue short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans with pinstripes. She also had on a belt made from red and light blue ribbon with beads and feathers on the end of it. She was wearing gray sneakers with bells tied to the laces. Another interesting identifying characteristic to our Jane is that she had her ears triple pierced. I know that by today's standards that's nothing new, but that was 18 year ago, I had just gotten mine pierced for the very FIRST time!

Jane also had several items of jewelry with her, blue turquoise hear earnings, gold leaf earnings, a ring with and red hearts, a silver wave band with blue and red stones, and a necklace chain with a dangle.

Jane had at least four tattoo's if not more (please see below for photo's of the tattoo's). Her tattoo's included a unicorn and long stemmed rose on the right groin area; a yellow rose on her inner left wrist; a hand drawn question mark on her right hip area, and a hand drawn heart on her left hip area.
